O'DOHERTY & CATALDO

After 5 years in the district attorney's office and 2 more at the prestigious Long Island law firm Pelletreau & Pelletreau, Dennis O'Doherty opened his practice in 1989. Inspired by his work at Pelletreau, Dennis focused his practice on transactional work, including estates, asset protection, and real estate. The firm quickly grew and Dennis formed a connection both with local residents, as well as clients and businesses throughout the island and New York metro area.

 

In 1994, Dennis moved to our present location at 25 Candee Avenue, to both support his growing firm, as well as turn the building into a full law center, sharing space with other attorneys in a variety of practice areas. 

 

In 2008, Sal Cataldo joined the firm, and in 2012, Sal and Dennis formed the partnership O'Doherty & Cataldo, and the firm continues to grow in staff, client base, and practice areas.
