Mr. O’Doherty was a former Assistant District Attorney for Suffolk County, New York. He has successfully practiced Criminal & Civil Litigation for many years. He has also lectured as an adjunct professor at Suffolk County Community College, Paralegal Program, for fifteen years.

Born and raised on Long Island, he attended the University of Pennsylvania as an undergraduate, earning degrees from both the Wharton School of Business and the College of Arts and Sciences. After graduating with honors in 1992, he went on to attend the Duke University School of Law, from which he earned his law degree in 1995. He practiced in North Carolina for seven years before moving back to Long Island in 2002.
